Two Nice Catholic Boys - Fallen from a Nest of Clouds

Two Nice Catholic Boys are excited to announce a brand new release! Fallen from a Nest of Clouds is a 4 song EP which will be released on CD and digitally on the 2nd of October through Bluestack Records. Now available to pre-order!

This short but substantive suite of songs was slowly put together over a period of two years. Maximilien Luc Proctor and Ruairí McCann meticulously stitched together spur of the moment improvisations and field recordings with experimental sound design. The coterie of elements and textures include Max's  brash and lush guitar work and Ruairí's manipulated, found instrumentation, including bird whistles and a music box, among many other sounds, possibilities and windows to the world.

All four of these songs are, each in their own way, searching, melodic, romantic and take place in the open air. Fueled and bonded by the themes of flight, struggle, language and camaraderie.
