FRMR
FRMR is a songwriter, poet, and verser from Desertmartin, Northern Ireland.
Formerly Sons Of Caliber, he has supported artists such as Nathaniel Rateliff, The Staves, and Gemma Hayes, and has played many of NI's most prominent local venues and beloved festivals including Glasgowbury, Open House, and Stendhal.
FRMR’s Ochre picks up where 2021’s Amelanchier left off, wandering deeper into a lush folktronic wilderness.
For Andrew Farmer, the man behind FRMR, the album feels like the next chapter in a lifelong dialogue about ecology, spirituality, and our tangled bond with the natural world. “It’s about rediscovering the simple, joyous sparks of childhood,” he reflects, “and letting them light up our everyday lives.”
In a modern world that can often feel shadowed, Ochre stands as a quiet anthem: a love letter to nature, a call to reclaim the simple, bright things that keep us moving forward. The music pulses with organic textures and electronic whispers, each track a step into the wild heart of small wonders.
FRMR's voice, at times tender, at others resolute, weaves through the soundscapes like a breeze through an ancient forest, inviting listeners to pause, breathe, and remember what it means to be truly alive.
